Guidelines and Code of Ethics:
1.  No member will perform an investigation alone on behalf of S.P.O.R.
2. There must always be a minimum of two people present during an investigation. The buddy system always applies.  This for everyones safety and this can help to validate any experiences we encounter.
3.  S.P.O.R. will always get permission from the property owner(s) and/or lease tenants to perform an investigation, especially if it is on private property.
4.  Members must always respect the property we are on or in. We do not disturb the belongings on the property.
5.  Prior to an investigation, all equipment will be checked to make sure everything is in working order. Members will also bring their own extra tapes, batteries and supplies.
6.  Environmental readings will be the first step in our investigation. Members must document notable EMF readings, temperatures in all areas to be investigated and any other information that will help us with a clean and thorough investigation.
7.  Exterior photos will not be taken in inclimate weather. (fog, rain, or snow)
8.  Everyone should speak clear during an investigation to keep from any human contamination on an audio recorder.
9.  We will not alter any evidence and present it as evidence!!!
10.  Possession of weapons, the use and or possession of alcohol or drugs during an investigation is strictly prohibited.
11.  Members will maintain a positive, polite and professional attitude towards one other and particularly our clients.
12.  Any evidence obtained at an investigation is property of S.P.O.R. (with exception given to personal property)
13.  Every team member is encouraged to purchase their own equipment, but it is not required.
14.  Safety is our number one priority! Clients as well as our team members.
15.  Every team member should have a pen or pencil and notepad during the investigation.
16.  We must respect a client's right to privacy and not share their information without signed approval.
